On the 16th December Ms. Hanly, Ms. Lee and Ms. Coleman from Scoil Íde travelled to Sweden. The trip was based around a primary school in Karlstad, Sweden called Stodeneskolan where they spent most of their time.

During the day they got the opportunity to visit all the classes in the school and they learnt about school life in Sweden. The teachers taught the children about life in Ireland. Ms. Lee and Ms. Hanly played the tin whistle, while Ms. Coleman showed the children some Irish dancing steps.

They also got to participate in P.E. lessons, allowing the teachers to experience some Ice-skating and Skiing.

The teachers got a chance to help out in the woodwork room and sowing room where the children were busy working away.
The trip was a great success.
